Happy Monday! It’s the first Monday of 2021 and I am actually starting to think/do something about the intentions I want to set for the year. I personally don’t think you need a new year or month to start new goals, but there’s nothing like a Monday to make me want to overhaul my entire life, lol! So, today I am sharing the habits that I want to start/continue in 2021.

Probably the most important habit I have started already this year is mediating every day. I had already meditated every once in a while, but my goal this year is to make this a daily habit and so far I am 4 for 4 days! I use the app Headspace and really like all of their programs!

I used to drink a ton of water and the past couple of months I feel like I have barely drank any water at all. So, the new habit I want to start is drink the Mayo Clinic recommendation of ~90 ounces of water daily.

The other habit I want to better this year is more consistency with working out. I got a Peloton last year and absolutely love it, but whenever I stop using it, because I’m sick or too busy, it’s difficult to get back into it. So, my goal this year is to be more consistent with working out in general and try to either do Peloton bike rides or yoga at least 5 days a week!

Here’s to starting habits this year that even during a pandemic will bring better overall health and wellness. What habits do you want to start this year?
